Someone who has just installed NovelForge has 45 engines and no idea which to touch first. The job is to get them to a drafted scene with one small decision made, not to explain the architecture.

• Writing something new, from nothing
• Adopting a manuscript already written
• Writing a series, so more than one novel

Each path starts differently, and the answer determines which skill leads.
