About skills.sh

What we do

We index every public skill that ships through the open skills CLI and rank them by anonymous install telemetry. Every skill page shows the source repo, install count, originating organization, agents the skill is most-used on, and security audit results from our partners.

Who runs it

skills.sh is operated by Vercel as part of the open agent skills ecosystem. The CLI, the ingestion pipeline, and this site are open source.

How skills are ranked

Rankings come from anonymous, deduplicated install counts collected by the skills CLI when users opt in. We track which skills are installed and on which agents, but no personal information or session content is collected. Deduplication runs hourly to prevent artificial inflation.

The documentation covers the install protocol and the public API surfaces the same data this site renders.

How skills are reviewed

Every indexed skill goes through routine security audits performed by partner providers. Public results are visible on each skill page under the security audit section. Skills that fail every partner audit are excluded from the directory entirely.

We do our best to maintain a safe ecosystem, but cannot guarantee the quality or security of every skill. We encourage you to review a skill's SKILL.md before installing.
