chat-and-bots
This skill answers one question: what happens between a person's first message and the moment their matter is settled: who answers, how the matter reaches someone who can settle it and stays with them, what the person is told while nobody answers, and when the conversation counts as finished.
Three properties make this work unlike the other channels in this library.
- The person picks the moment. Every other channel skill decides when to send. Here the person writes when they need something, and the program controls only how fast and how well it answers. The constraint is capacity at a given hour, not the audience.
- One side waits. Silence in a conversation is a promise running out, measured in the person's minutes.
- The tool counts threads; the person has a matter. One matter crosses threads, channels and shifts, and one thread can hold two matters. A metric counted on threads rewards splitting a matter and closing it early.
