This skill answers one question: what happens when in the year, and what that does to the rest of it.
Not what the discount should be, which is offer-design. Not what the message says, which is
email-copy. Not how many messages one person gets, which is contact-orchestration. What lives
here is the year as a construction: which occasions exist at all, where they sit, what a peak
does to the weeks on either side of it, and what the months between peaks are for.
The unit is the window: a dated span with an offer inside it, addressed to a named audience.
It is deliberately larger than anything the neighbors count. A send is email-program's unit, an
entry into a flow is triggered-messages', one offer is offer-design's; a window contains
several of each and is decided a year at a time.
The work fails quietly, which is what makes it worth writing down. A window that borrowed its revenue from the weeks around it reports a success, and the loss shows up in a different report belonging to somebody else, one purchase cycle later.
