Angular Frontend Standards

For modern Angular (v17+, standalone-components-by-default, no NgModule for new code) using signals, @if/@for/@switch control flow, and @defer. Extends the framework-agnostic rules in the core-standards skill with Angular-specific APIs, conventions, and tooling.

When to use this skill

• Setting up or reviewing contributor rules for a new or existing Angular project.
• Writing or reviewing standalone components, signals, reactive forms, or dependency injection.
• Deciding change-detection strategy, or reviewing a PR that leaves a component on default (Zone.js-driven) detection without reason.
• Adding a modal, dropdown, or dynamic announcement and deciding whether to hand-roll focus handling or reach for @angular/cdk/a11y.
