The code is a legitimate Istio deployment script. It contains no apparent credential theft, data exfiltration, persistence, reverse shell, cryptomining, destructive filesystem activity, or other clear malware indicators. The principal security concern is the unverified curl-to-shell execution of a remote installer, combined with substantial Kubernetes modifications. The script should use a verified, pinned installer artifact and validate its checksum or signature before execution.
