Astro owns static structure: pages, layouts, and purely presentational regions. SolidJS or React owns all interactivity: every component that handles user input, manages state, or responds to events is a framework island — not an .astro file.

CSS Modules are used for all component styling — always in a separate styles.module.css file, never inline or inside the Astro <style> block.
