Close every gap on a fixed, invoking-skill-provided checklist of required inputs, with minimum friction for the user. Try to answer everything from context first; ask only about genuine gaps.

This is not an open-ended interview. The invoking skill hands gap-check a specific, bounded list of required inputs — the job here is to resolve every item on that list and hand back a resolved answer set, nothing more.

This skill runs in the invoking workflow's own context on purpose — it has to reach the user directly to ask, and it needs whatever context that workflow already loaded. Never run it in a forked or background subagent: the questions would have no one to answer them.
