Mermaid diagrams
Adapted from WH-2099/mermaid-skill (MIT); reorganized for Cursor Agent Skills (SKILL.md + local references/).
Produce correct, readable Mermaid source from the user’s goals. Prefer the workflow below over guessing syntax.
When to use
- Starting or scoping work where a shared picture reduces ambiguity (features, refactors, integrations).
- Documenting architecture, data models, APIs, or operational flows.
- Explaining decisions in ADRs, RFCs, or README sections where a diagram clarifies context or options.
- Onboarding and cross-team alignment on structure, boundaries, and responsibilities.
- User phrasing such as diagram, visualize, model, map out, show the flow, draw sequences or an ERD, explain architecture, document a schema, ZenUML, or related diagram vocabulary.
