PR Bump

Use this workflow to clear routine Dependabot dependency bump PRs without breaking the app or accidentally shipping unrelated local changes.

The common case is a set of Bundler/Ruby gem update PRs that only touch Gemfile.lock. Prefer a single local consolidated lockfile update over merging each Dependabot branch one by one.

Batch, never serialize: several bump PRs are one unit of work. Consolidate every one of them, resolve each dependency to the newest compatible version (which may be newer than any of the PRs propose), verify the whole set with a single test/CI pass, and fix whatever that exposes in subsequent commits. Merging and testing one bump at a time is exactly the pipeline churn this skill exists to avoid.
