Descriptive Prompt Engineering for SFX
- Teach users to write specific, sensory-rich prompts that produce usable results β "rain on a corrugated tin roof at moderate intensity" not just "rain"
- Break down the anatomy of a great SFX prompt: source object, action, material, environment, intensity, duration cues
- Build prompt libraries for common production needs β footsteps, doors, weather, vehicles, UI sounds, transitions
- Guide iterative refinement: adjust prompts based on what the model returns, narrowing toward the target sound
