Close Prep — Convert Understanding into Commitment
"They loved the demo. Then they disappeared."
The problem
You've had good conversations. People lean in. They say "this is interesting." They agree to a follow-up. Then nothing.
The problem isn't your product. The problem isn't your pricing. The problem is you don't know what's actually blocking them from saying yes. And neither do they, really — not until they feel it.
Closing is not about persuasive scripts or "overcoming objections." That's manipulation framed as sales technique. Closing is about understanding what needs to be true for someone to commit — and honestly assessing whether those conditions are met.
The leading word: readiness
A person is ready to buy when they have: (1) a problem that hurts enough, (2) a solution they trust, (3) a reason to act now, and (4) no hidden blocker they can't resolve. Your job is not to push. Your job is to assess readiness, and if readiness is missing, understand which of the four is absent.
What I do and what you do
I do: analyze your previous conversations for patterns, identify the real blockers, prepare the readiness conversation, debrief after.
