seenry-branding
For original identity authorship, follow the main Seenry workflow and its art-direction guide before researching examples here. Define relationships across wordmark, type, imagery, palette, language and motion; test them in both expressive and dense applications. Researching a brand guide is not itself a new identity design. Preserve a supplied identity unless the user requests rebranding.
For creating, codifying or updating a project's guidelines, use project guidelines. Reuse existing brand documentation and implementation sources; otherwise create a compact BRAND.md linked from DESIGN.md. A research-only request ends with its findings. A small UI change inherits applicable rules without generating a new manual.
Deliver project continuity
Never propose an asterisk, sparkle, star, burst or flower as a logo or brand mark, typed or drawn; it is the most common AI-made mark. Start from a wordmark in the brand type and add a mark only when it comes from the product's own idea.
Render the guideline as a Seenry sheet (the sheet) alongside BRAND.md: logo and naming rules, color with measured contrast from palette.py, type, imagery and icon rules, each as a testable rule with a do and a don't (the way Spotify's developer design guidelines present logo, color and artwork rules). The sheet is what later agents and people read first.
For a request to create or maintain project branding, the deliverable is a usable guideline tied to implementation—not a reference screenshot or palette board. Read the project's DESIGN.md and linked brand rules before editing. Keep one canonical guideline: use an existing DESIGN.md brand section, or BRAND.md linked from DESIGN.md. State which file later agents must read.
Define shared token/component owners and demonstrate the rules in at least two relevant existing surfaces or states when the project has them. Verify that the same components, terminology and state behavior carry across. Record scoped exceptions and update shared sources with the guideline; do not invent a second per-page identity. Research through MCP informs the rules but does not replace their authorship or verification. A small change should reuse the rules without expanding into a brand manual.
Read branding as a system
MCP is optional. Without it, inspect supplied brand guidelines, local applications or permitted public sources. Study the same relationships below and label missing/estimated values honestly. For a new palette, use the installed seenry color decisions guide; a local brief and working comparisons are enough to begin identity exploration. Do not require a library account or invent a curator rating.
