The code is observability guidance with no clear malicious behavior. It contains security and operational weaknesses: a hardcoded Grafana default password, mutable container image tags, exposed monitoring services, and possible leakage of exception details and telemetry. OTLP export is intentional, but its destination must be trusted and protected. The metrics example also has correctness issues. Review and harden deployment configuration before production use.
