log-hours
Log hours to Tempo
Shared writing standard
Before you write user-facing prose or artifact prose, read and apply the shared ASD-STE100 skill. Preserve this skill's required output contract.
If the shared skill or profile is unavailable, state that limit in the response. This notice is the only exception to an exact-output rule. Then apply ASD-STE100 as closely as possible from the available context.
Deduce how a day was spent, show the user a table, and — only after explicit approval — post the time as Jira worklogs (which Tempo syncs from). By default, fill the day to a full workday_hours (8h) — reconstruct enough real work to reach 8h, distributing any unaccounted-for time across active tickets weighted by signal. The daily total (already-logged + newly-posted) must never exceed 8 hours; 8h is both the default target and a hard ceiling. Log less than 8h only when the user explicitly asks, or on the rare day the sources genuinely can't justify 8h — in which case report best-effort rather than fabricate.
Invocation: /log-hours [date] [freeform time hints]
date— optional, natural language ok ("today", "yesterday", "July 2"). Defaults to today.- freeform hints — optional, e.g.
1h on 738, spent the morning in meetings. These are authoritative (see Step 4).
