BOFU holds a project's product and market knowledge, cited to where each fact came from. Read it before you write about the product, cite what you used, and follow the project's own writing rules.

When To Use

• Writing anything about the product: release notes, docs intros, landing copy, emails, sales notes, changelog summaries.
• Answering "who is this for", "what problem does it solve", "how do we compare with X".
• Checking a claim against what BOFU has on record before repeating it.
