Webcraft copy

Write content that answers the visitor's questions and fits the planned sections. Produce 03-copy.md, or update the authoritative copy source it already indexes.

When drafting or materially revising messaging, use upstream copywriting guidance. Read only relevant supporting frameworks; a small correction does not require a new research pass.

Start or resume

Read 00-project.md, the brief, section plan, and current copy source. Accept inspected equivalent documents and record their locations. If project setup, brief, or section intent is missing, name the missing inputs and recommend /webcraft-init, /webcraft-brief, or /webcraft-plan in prerequisite order. Do not manufacture them or run earlier stages silently.

Create when absent, resume a draft, or revise affected copy using new instructions. If the work is ready and no change was requested, ask what to revise. Preserve IDs and unrelated content. Resolve material contradictions or stale inputs before relying on them; use a question tool when available.

An explicit restart may rework this stage; preserve its prior milestone through existing history or a scoped snapshot. Approval belongs to a specific revision and does not automatically carry over to substantive edits.

Write and fit content

Use the brief's shared audience research first, including linked product-marketing context, interviews, reviews, or support conversations. Ask only for material gaps. For each page, establish a compact messaging note: page purpose, traffic source when known, visitor awareness, main promise, objection, evidence, and intended action. Label inferred visitor context as an assumption. Refer shared research back to the brief rather than creating a competing audience profile.

Follow the brief's audience, voice, evidence, and primary action. Work section by section using the plan's stable IDs. Write meaningful headings, body copy, CTA labels and destinations, and relevant form/helper/error text. Vary depth according to the visitor's decision rather than forcing identical text lengths across sections.
