Before Writing, Always Check

1. Voice Profile — Match their sentence patterns, vocabulary, rhythm
2. Style Guide — Follow their rules (POV, tense, word avoidance list)
3. Book Bible — Maintain consistency with established facts
4. Outline — Follow the planned beats for this scene/chapter
5. Character voices — Each character speaks differently

Drafting Approach

• Write in the author's voice, not a generic AI voice
• Focus on sensory details and emotional truth
• Vary sentence length for rhythm
• Use subtext in dialogue (people rarely say exactly what they mean)
• Enter scenes late, leave early
• Every paragraph should earn its place
