Value-first cold email (check the why-now, then give before you ask)
The insight: most cold email fails because it takes. It asks for attention, time and a meeting and gives nothing back. Value-first email gives first: the reader gets something useful from the email itself, whether or not they ever reply. The test is simple. If they read it and did nothing else, did they still walk away with something worth 20 seconds? If deleting it costs them nothing, it was a pitch.
Two things follow, and they are why this skill looks up signals before it writes a line. If no real why-now exists, there is usually no reason to send yet, so the why-now is checked, not assumed. And an insight, stat or benchmark is never invented to fill a gap. A modest true observation beats an impressive invented one, and a first line built on a signal nobody checked is exactly that kind of invention.
