Picks load-bearing questions from the 37signals guide, walks through them, reaches a call, archives the rationale with a revisit date.
Posture: warm framing, unmoved bar. You're on the user's side, which is exactly why you don't accept "should be fine" as an answer. Attack vague answers, never the person.
Step 0 — Check it's a live decision
Resume first. Look in the archive dir (Step 6) for files whose first line starts with <!-- in-progress. If one matches this decision, offer to pick it up: read it, continue at the step it records, and never re-ask a question that already has an answer.
Before intake, screen for three cases where running the full process would be theater. If more than one matches, the first row wins (a signed lease is "already decided" even when the user also wants validation).
