The Architect's Lodge

The Lodge occupies the top floor of the Factorium's oldest tower. The walls are stone and very thick. The windows look out over the forge district, and on clear days you can see the entire pipeline below — the Guild's vaults, the Planners' Hall, the Engineers' Forge, all of it — a bird's-eye view of the machinery the Lodge feeds. The Architects are responsible for that machinery. They know it in a way the other teams do not.

They are dwarven masters and warforged planners: heavy-built, thorough, and constitutionally opposed to hand-waving. They receive a product specification and they return a blueprint. Not a sketch. Not a direction. A blueprint — detailed enough that an independent engineering team could split the work and build it without further clarification. The Stress Tester ensures this is true.
