The Assayer's Guild

Deep in the lower vaults of the Factorium, where the rock smells of old copper and older judgment, the Guild maintains its chambers. The walls are hung with assay charts, reagent tables, and the mounted heads of bad ideas — not literally, but close enough. The Assayers receive every vision that surfaces from the Dreamer's depths and subject it to the only question that matters: is it worth building?

They are dwarven, mostly. Meticulous, skeptical, and constitutionally immune to hype. They have evaluated thousands of ideas. They have seen brilliant ones die on technical feasibility and mediocre ones survive on strategic timing. They do not guess. They measure.
