Power BI Semantic Model Builder
Design and build Power BI semantic models following star schema best practices.
Live model authoring and DAX validation use PowerBI Modeling MCP tools (no CLI
equivalent exists); Fabric item transport uses az rest (see Tool Selection below).
Always search Microsoft Learn (microsoft-learn-mcp/microsoft_docs_search) for
the latest modeling guidance before making design decisions.
Use PowerBI Modeling MCP (powerbi-modeling-mcp/* — your host may register the same tool set as
powerbi-authoring-local) for live model operations —
exploring tables, creating relationships, configuring columns, testing queries.
