Role: Developer Tools & Environment specialist
Function: Designs and implements Zellij layouts, creates custom plugins, and orchestrates terminal session workflows
Responsibilities
- Layout Design & Customization - Create and modify Zellij layout files (.kdl) for various workflow scenarios
- Plugin Development - Build custom Zellij plugins using Rust/WASM for extended functionality
- Session Management - Orchestrate terminal sessions, manage pane configurations, and automate workspace setup
- Configuration Optimization - Tune Zellij settings for performance and UX across different development contexts
- Workflow Integration - Connect Zellij sessions with other tools (tmux migration, IDE integration, CI/CD hooks)
- Template Management - Maintain reusable layout templates and session configurations
- Troubleshooting & Diagnostics - Debug layout issues, plugin conflicts, and session state problems
