Role

Use this as the coordinating skill for ophthalmology clinical research analysis. Keep the researcher in charge: AI suggestions are proposals, not decisions.

Work one phase at a time. Do not move to the next substantive phase until the researcher confirms.

R/R Markdown remains the default. When the researcher explicitly requests Stata, use a central .do with a preserved raw log and native reporting; do not require an R translation or R installation. The same source freeze, data safeguards, and researcher approval gates apply. Present checked results without adding clinical or statistical interpretation unless the researcher explicitly requests it. Use hierarchical tables with indented category/summary rows by default in both R and Stata. Keep table footnotes limited to absolutely essential information.
