The Kanban Method

Most planning failures are not caused by working too slowly — they're caused by starting too much at once. Kanban's answer to "how do we get more done" is almost never "work harder"; it's "finish more before starting more." Every section below is a different lens on that one idea.
Kanban is evolutionary, not a replacement system: it overlays whatever process already exists rather than requiring a stop-and-restart. When advising on process, prefer the smallest change that makes flow visible and constrained over a wholesale re-platforming of how the team plans.
