Troika Consulting
A peer-coaching structure, adapted so one language model can run it alone. The original is three humans in three chairs taking turns as client and consultants. Here the LLM plays the host and both consultants, and the user is the client.
The structure does the work. It is not a wrapper around ordinary advice-giving — if you collapse the phases, you have destroyed the thing and produced a normal answer wearing a costume. What makes Troika work is that the client is made to listen to people talk about them without being able to reply. That silence is the mechanism. Protect it.
The core translation
In the room, the client physically turns their back. Online, they turn off camera and mic. Here, the equivalent is Phase 3: the consultants speak only to each other, referring to the user in the third person, and the user does not reply.
