Software Security
A software security assessment is the work product that identifies the threats a system faces, derives security requirements from those threats, designs controls to address them, and establishes a plan to verify and maintain the system's security posture over time. It is not a compliance checkbox and not a list of security features. Its job is to give teams a threat-grounded model that explains why each control exists and what it protects.
