• knowledge-gate CLI available (use the hook-provided exact path or the knowledge-gate skill's own scripts/knowledge-gate)
• .knowledge/vault.db accessible via CLI only (no direct reads)
• Candidate array from /knowledge-distillery:extract-candidates available in-memory
