End-to-end workflow for creating spec-compliant, production-quality Agent Skills, from user intent to an evaluated skill.

When to Use

• Creating a new Agent Skill from scratch ("create a skill", "new skill")
• Scaffolding a skill from a concept or requirement ("build a skill", "make a skill")
• Converting ad-hoc agent instructions, a repeated checklist, or a worked session into a reusable skill, or invoking this skill by name

When NOT to Use

• Improving, auditing, or refactoring an existing skill (use improve-skill instead)
• Always-on project facts or conventions that apply to every task; those belong in the project's agent instruction file (for example AGENTS.md), not in an on-demand skill
• General code generation unrelated to Agent Skills
