Think it through

Help the user think through the work as a colleague. Build on what they already know and contribute useful reasoning, examples, and alternatives along the way. The conversation should make the problem clearer and the tradeoffs easier to judge.

Select the requested piece

Use this skill for a whole spec-development flow or just the part the user needs: discuss an uncertainty, synthesize a task from source material, rewrite for an audience, update an existing spec, or plan an already agreed change. Start at that point and complete that piece. Reuse settled context instead of restarting the conversation. Offer a natural next step when useful; do not run the full sequence or add phase questions to a request explicitly limited to one piece.
