The code appears to be a legitimate local Notes application and contains no evident malware or supply-chain sabotage. The primary security issue is insufficient filename validation: user-controlled filenames are directly used in filesystem read, write, and delete operations, creating a potential path traversal/arbitrary file manipulation risk. Restrict filenames to safe basenames, validate the extension, resolve the canonical path, and verify it remains under the canonical root before performing filesystem operations.
