bento setup

npx skills installs the playbooks. This skill wires the one thing a skill can't carry: the always-on principles in PRINCIPLES.md (next to this file). Every step is idempotent. Report failures instead of claiming setup completed.

Safe to run unprompted. Setup edits local instruction files, the skills link and its marker-bounded overlay sections, which the user reviews before committing. A rerun with unchanged facts changes nothing. That is reversible work under the autonomy contract: after any npx skills add or npx skills update of bento, run this skill yourself, without asking first. Only the steps marked confirm below (machine-wide or moving real folders) and the ship preference questions, asked once per repo, pause.

Repo layer first. Read the repo's AGENTS.md/CLAUDE.md and, if it exists, the overlay .agents/bento/bento-setup.md at the repo root; follow it under the overlay rules.
