Local work and durable records
Use the filesystem protocol and
python3 <skill-dir>/scripts/p2p_filesystem.py --repo <root> resolve .p2p/work/<slug>/contract.md
to resolve paths. Save reports with save .p2p/work/<slug>/contract.md <report-name> --from <file>
to retain history before replacement.
When the subject resolves to .p2p/work/<slug>/contract.md, read its linked context and save
the findings or agreed discussion handoff to .p2p/work/<slug>/critique.md.
Preserve prior durable records using the protocol retention rule. Keep the work
item and any spec unchanged; amendment requests remain pending until normalized
by plan-acceptance. For an informal idea without a work item, return advice
without inventing a work item solely to store it. Local record saving grants no
Git or external publication authority.
