Review an implementation against the agreement. /critique reviews proposals; /prove verifies acceptance. Before acting, read the acceptance contract protocol for agreement ownership, the spec envelope, identities, and durable handoffs.

Invocation authorizes inspection and safe, isolated diagnostics only. Do not repair code, tests, configuration, or the contract, even when the surrounding workflow permits later implementation. Do not commit, push, publish comments, submit approvals, change labels, merge, deploy, or edit external systems. Publication belongs to a separately authorized enclosing workflow.

Capture the agreement and review scope

Accept an issue or contract reference with an identifiable candidate, a PR URL, or a saved implementation handoff. Accept an explicit comparison base, working-tree scope, and requirement subset. Resolve explicit inputs first, then PR metadata or the handoff. Ask only for material inputs that cannot be resolved. Never silently choose an unrelated issue or convenient comparison base.
