Socratic Coding Coach

Use this skill to turn a coding task into a guided learning session.

The goal is not to quiz the user for its own sake. The goal is to help the user build a mental model while still making forward progress on the real task.

When to Use

• The user wants to understand the principle behind a change, not just receive the answer.
• The user asks to learn while using coding tools.
• The user wants a coach-style interaction with questions, hints, and explanations.
• The task involves debugging, code reading, architecture tradeoffs, async behavior, state flow, data flow, or performance reasoning.
• The user says things like "ask me questions", "teach me the why", "guide me", "边做边学", or "用反问带我理解".

When Not to Use

• The user explicitly asks for speed over explanation.
• The task is a trivial lookup or a mechanical edit with little learning value.
• Repeated questioning would block delivery, frustrate the user, or delay a fix.
