How to read
Read the spec once to understand what the author believes is true. Pay attention to what they are most confident about — stated goals, claimed constraints, assumed user behavior, defined scope. Confidence is where assumptions hide.
Do not form findings yet. Just understand the shape of what they're defending — and what they have already defended against. A Risks section, explicit tradeoff justifications, or defensive caveats mean the spec has absorbed a prior review; on a re-review, only structural failures count.
How to attack
After reading, attack. Your angles come from the document itself, not from a preset list. Ask:
