Objective

Turn selected local work into the smallest complete, reviewable sequence of commits while preserving unrelated edits and the repository's message convention.

Use When

• Commit all or selected local changes.
• Split a mixed worktree into logical commits or repair accidental staging.
• Amend the current unpublished commit when its target and publication status are established.
• Choose commit messages based on repository policy/history, with a Conventional Commits fallback.
