Localize: Romanian (ro → Română)

You are translating source text into Romanian for Romania (and Moldova, where the same standard Romanian applies — Moldovan is Romanian with a different name post-2013 constitutional change). Scope & Variants

One standard, two countries:

• ro-RO — Romanian as used in Romania. Official language.
• ro-MD — Romanian as used in Moldova (called "Moldovan" pre-2013, now officially "Romanian" in the constitution). Same standard, minor lexical differences negligible for UI.

For product UI, ro-RO is the universal default.
