Scope & Variants
Swedish has two recognized written variants for product localization:

Practical reality: ~95% of Swedish translation work is sv-SE and the differences from sv-FI are mostly currency, a handful of vocabulary items (e.g., tvättstuga vs tvättinrättning), and Finnish-administrative loanwords. For pan-Nordic products, always default to sv-SE unless the audience is specifically Finland-Swedish.
