Core Email Copywriting Rules
- Subject line = 80% of the result — if it doesn't get opened, nothing else matters
- One email = one goal — don't ask for multiple things in one email
- Write like a human, not a brand — "Hey John" beats "Dear Valued Customer"
- Short wins — under 150 words gets more replies than 500 words
- Specific beats vague — "saved 3 hours/week" beats "saves time"
- Plain text converts better for cold/personal emails — no fancy HTML
- One CTA only — one link, one ask, one action
- The PS line gets read — always use it for your most important point
