Core Philosophy
Data-ink ratio is sacred. Every element on screen must earn its place. If removing it doesn't reduce understanding, it dies. No chartjunk. No decorative gradients. No 3D effects.
The viewer thinks about substance, not methodology. When someone says "nice chart," you've failed. When they say "churn is up 14%," you've succeeded.
Clarity is not simplicity — it's the removal of confusion. A dense sparkline grid with 50 data series can be clearer than a single pie chart. Density is fine. Confusion is not.
