Tools

Prefer the smallest tool that fits the task:

• gdalinfo
• ogrinfo
• gdalwarp
• gdal_translate
• gdalbuildvrt
• gdaltindex
• gdal_rasterize
• gdal2tiles.py
• ogr2ogr

If GDAL is not installed, ask the user to install it before continuing.
