The August 2026 Next.js security release fixes critical AVIF image-optimization RCE and Windows mixed-router RCE (CVE-2026-75604). Its patched LTS releases are 15.5.24 and 16.3.3; the 16.3.4 snapshot above includes those fixes. Check the advisory's deployment conditions when assessing an existing app (checked 2026-09-10).
