Purpose
Guide requirements engineers in selecting the right combination of analysis and modeling techniques for their project. Different systems demand different analysis approaches -- a data-intensive reporting system benefits from data modeling, while an event-driven control system needs state modeling. Use this to choose wisely rather than applying every technique to every project or always defaulting to the same one.
