Purpose

Orchestrate the complete requirements development lifecycle from initial vision through validated, baselined requirements. This is the meta-workflow that coordinates all four subdisciplines of requirements engineering into a coherent, phased process.

The four subdisciplines are:

1. Elicitation -- Discovering what stakeholders need
2. Analysis -- Modeling and refining what was discovered
3. Specification -- Documenting requirements precisely
4. Validation -- Confirming requirements are correct, complete, and feasible

These subdisciplines are not sequential stages. They interleave and iterate. This workflow provides the structure for that iteration while ensuring no critical activity is skipped.
