Zero Tech Debt

This skill exists to stop: cleanup from becoming an unbounded rewrite or deleting compatibility whose authority and callers are still unknown.

🤖 0. HOW TO USE

• Execute (default): remove one accepted structural path in reversible, behavior-preserving slices.
• Review: verify deletion evidence, invariants, compatibility policy, authority, rollback, and accepted end state before editing.
• Handoff: transfer open decisions, candidate discovery, or intentional behavior changes to the canonical owner.

Output: a smaller accepted structure with verified external behavior unchanged and a compatibility/deletion ledger.

🧩 Companion Go pack: the backend-go-* skills referenced below (testing, testify, design-patterns, performance, observability…) are a separate pack, not bundled in this kit. Everything in this skill runs without them; where they are named, apply your project's own Go conventions instead.

Make the scoped area look as though the intended product and architecture had existed from day one, while preserving every verified external contract.

"Zero tech debt" is a direction, not permission for a rewrite. Intentional compatibility is part of the interface. Unknown compatibility is a blocker, not dead code.
