Identify the intended programme track and preserve sync and linked picture before editing. Distinguish clip gain, track processing, automation, and render loudness. Inspect the installed SDK or public CutAgent CLI cards for available operations and edition limits.

Use local or user supplied audio whose rights are clear. Align cues by listening and actual timestamps. Apply short boundary fades where needed, preserve natural tails, and avoid doubled scratch audio. Inspect gain and dynamics readback, listen to critical transitions, and measure a final render when a loudness target matters. Waveforms and returned parameters cannot prove sound quality by themselves.
