Confirm input color space, timeline/output management, and the intended viewing target before applying a transform. Stabilize exposure, white balance, and shot continuity before a creative look. Do not infer a camera profile solely from a flat image.

Use the installed SDK or public CutAgent CLI cards for exact node, primary, curve, window, tracking, and LUT routes; check live capability and edition support. Only apply local LUTs, PowerGrades, DCTLs, or stills whose rights and expected input are known. Compare same-position before and after frames and representative shots across the scene. A numerical grade readback does not establish a good image.
