Graphic accents
Use accents as visual verbs: point, circle, underline, connect, frame, or punctuate. Construct them from editable Fusion shapes, masks, text, and animation rather than copying decorative assets from a purchased pack.
Give every accent a target
Name what the viewer should notice and what the accent communicates. An arrow identifies direction, a circle isolates, an underline stresses language, a line connects ideas, and a star or burst punctuates a moment. Remove an accent that does not improve attention or meaning.
Fit the mark to the delivery format and image. Keep it clear of faces, captions, controls, and platform crop zones. Match the scene's type and palette, but maintain enough contrast to read over changing footage. Prefer one strong accent family over several unrelated shapes.
Construct a coherent mark
Build simple geometry with deliberate proportions: consistent stroke width, compatible corner character, clean arrowheads, and balanced negative space. Keep fill, outline, glow, and shadow as separate editable decisions. When the accent labels an object, group the mark and label so they move together while preserving readable spacing.
